Dec 9, 1945 Dear Folks, Here it is Sunday night again. Just got back from a movie. Boy but is it cold out. Must be about ten below zero. The ground is white with snow also. The last two days have been really cool. Been on guard twice this week. Eight hours of guard in 24 hr. There is a fire kept burning on the guard post so that is alot of help. Gives a guy something to do even if he can't keep warm by it. I was on until 2:00 this morning. We start basketball practice in the morning. Naturally
