The party started at 2:00 and finished at 4:30. Guess I told you what we were going to give them. There were about 700 kids there at last count. During the party some Col. stopped in and wanted to talk to the men responsible for the party. The three of us went over and he told us that ours was the biggest and best party in Vienna. It was alot of work, but I enjoyed it and it was for a good cause. Last mail call I had six packages. What a mess that was. Two from Evelyn, two from M. [Reighard?], 1 from Uncle Raymonds and one from you. Had a letter from Dad this week saying that the announcement was in Sunday's paper. Guess we probably took
