Saving...
Nov 6, 1943 Dear Folks, Well, Sat. has come again. It is almost like last weekend except there is about an inch of snow on the ground. It is still plenty cold. What a busy week this has been. I've been taking tests every day I think. I'm through for the week no so maybe I can relax a little while. I bought myself an SHE[?] ring the other night. A fellow was around taking orders so I bought one. It won't get here for a few weeks but I'm used to waiting. Since I can't wear a pin I thought I just a well have a ring. It is a silver one with a black onyx set with the crest on top of that is is a shape like this. Crest poor but I tried I just got back from practicing for a parade. I guess we are going to have one armistice day down town. Be fun anyway. Is it ever cold out. The wind is blowing hard as heck and it keeps snowing along. I don't know for sure about the uniform
