Saving...
yet but I'll just write straight to Ken about it. I got a letter from him asking me all about it. I guess today was homecoming at Iowa. I haven't heard how the game came out but we are all wondering. I guess nothing much has happened this week. Just going to school. However, I guess a big bunch of us are going down town tonight. Nothing else to do. Ken said he had received gifts for Xmas also and has sent thank you letters. I haven't written mine yet but I will try it tomorrow. Better late than never. I'm in the process of pressing some pants right at present. One of my roomates has an electric presser. Works pretty good. I'm afraid this weekend won't be nearly so pleasant as last. I really had a wonderful time and really appreciated your coming out to see me. I guess I never thanked you for the sweater or for your thoughtfulness about the ring. Maybe I didn't show it but I felt proud and happy to have such wonderful parents. Thanks for everything. Love Carroll
