Saving...
Bob Lundstedts[?] mother and sister are here this weekend. We had a big talk until about 10:30 last evening. The whole gang was over at the union. After that some of us went down town to a mid night show. Finally got to bed at 2:00. What a night. I got up at 9:00 this morning and had the urge to play basketball. I went over to the gym and played until noon. Since then I've been doing nothing much but write letters. I got a birthday present from Ken and Margret last week. Cap, leather gloves, socks, belt, shoe polishing cloth. Pretty good for me. What a time you must have had shooting ducks. I'd sure like to try that again. I've seen ducks pretty thick but never like that. I just got back from supper. I still have to write Ken a letter tonight before I start studying. I'm really worried about this week. I'll close for now but will try to write a little more often. Cross your fingers on this algebra test. Love Carroll
