to see him get. He has worked so darned hard for so long thats it is time he got a chance like that. It will do him worlds of good to. The weather is still wonderful here. I can't figure it out. It seems like spring. So you suppose it will take very long to get the ring from Chicago? I just wondered if they might be hard to get or something. Everyone keeps asking me when I'll be home for Christmas. I wish I were as sure of getting there as they have figured out. I've never heard from Ray again nor have I had time to write him at his new address. I wonder if he was moved before he got my letter. I have a terrible cold right now for some reason or another. About 12% of our company is in the hospital. All three of my roommates have been in but are out now. I still manage to stay out though. I guess this is about all I can think of for now so I will close. Time to study again. Love Carroll
