Saving...
Thank J.J., Ame, Aunt Blanch and the rest for the cards Nov 28, 1943 Dear Folks, Here it is Sunday noon already and I haven't been [?] too long either. Its been so darned long since I wrote last that I'd better start back several days. On Thanksgiving we went to school all day but were off for the evening. We had a wonderful dinner of turkey and all the trimmings. That night we were off till 11:00 so some of us went down town to a show. We didn't get out of the show till 11:30 so we had to sneak in. Made it alright though. Fri didn't amount to much. Just went to classes as usual. Fri evening I had a big surprise though. They came up and told me I had a phone call. I didn't know who the heck would be calling me so I made a wild dash to the phone.
