Saving...
out so we have to have it changed up. It is now 2:30 and I have eaten dinner. Also it is nearly time for me to go over to the house. It starts at 3:30, but I have to be there early. I'll finish after I get back. It is now 10:40 and I'm in bed writing this. All the room lights are out but I have my bed lamp. I went down to see this fellow but I didn't get to talk long. Nice of him to call me anyway. Had quite abit of fun at the house singing songs and stuff. Pretty nice to get away from the army once in awhile. Some of us slept over there last night. So you bought a farm, dad? I figured you would by the way you talked. Sounds like you did alright. Sure sounds like Harold C. and family are doing swell. That was certainly the best thing that could have happened. It is late and I guess I've covered everything. Writing off and on this way I can't remember if I did or not. Good night. Love Carroll
