Saving...
Alot of the fellows are joining the air corp. There was a piece in the paper the other day stating that ASTP was going to be cut down considerably. Did you hear anything about that? What would you if I wanted to join? Did you ever find out the ring size so you could order it? Kay said you had written her about it. I guess she is in Richland about now. My ankle is still just like it was. I can walk ok but can't run worth a darn. I guess I pulled a few muscles. Its still pretty well swollen. Maybe I should have broken it then I'd have gotten a thirty day furlough. At least I'd have been sure of getting one. I'm listening to the radio as I write letters. Sure sounds good to hear some of these programs again. I have to write Ken yet tonight so I'd better get it done so I can get to studying. Oh those tests. I'll be a nervous wreck after these two weeks. If I don't get a furlough then I don't know what I'll do. Love Carroll
