Saving...
Camp Dodge, Iowa May 13, 1943 Dear Folks, I just got back from the Service Club. I was notified that I had some visitors but they had already left. It was Aunt Muriel and Ivan for they left a card. It said they wouldn't do anything for him because he was not a Senior. We got up at 5:00 this morning and it is now 3:30. Sure seems like a long day. We took our physical exam this morning. I guess I passed ok. We take our mental tests tomorrow. We haven't gotten our uniforms or anything yet. Some of these fellows with only one shirt are certainly suffering. We don't have such bad eats.
