came out to see me. They had to wait about an hour before I got free to go and see them. They stayed until about 7:00. I guess I visited with them for about two hours. They say I look pretty good in my uniform. We may be shipped out next Tues. I certainly hope so. All we have to do yet is to have the Articles of War read to us. We have to get up at 5:00 on Sun. morning. Isn't that something. It rained here all day and it is just like a pond around here. Well I guess I had better go to bed. I pledged $18.75 for bonds per month. They will be sent to mom. Also I took out $10,000 insurance. signed to mom. Love Carroll
