P.S. I got my glasses today and they were ok. Much oblidged. Dear Folks, It seems like at a U.S.O. show is about the only time I have for letter writing for that is where I am again. It is Sun. afternoon about 2:15 and hotter than heck sitting here in the sun. The show doesn't start for about fifteen minutes. Yesterday I fired the M1 and the carbine. I really enjoyed myself after the first shot. The first one was bad for I was shooting that high-powered M1 rifle and that thing really bucks I guess I wasn't holding it tight enough for it jumped up and hit me just under the eye. My eye was all swelled up yesterday and is still sore today. I did alright after that for I made seven out of eleven bulls eyes and the other four shots right in the edge of it. We were shooting on the 200 yd. range. The last I knew two other fellows and I were tied
