for the most points in the Platoon. It may have changed though. I'd sure like to own one of them. I don't like the carbine I fired so well. They are alright I guess but you have to use Kentucky Windage on them. What I mean is that some don't shoot just exactly straight and you have to aim to the right or left of the bulls eye. I did alot better than average with it though. I could have done better but the fellow before me took so much time for his firing that I had to shoot as fast as I could and I couldn't take my time aiming. I got a letter from Kay yesterday and she is in Toledo. I guess her mother was sick and they called and told her to come out. She was in Muscatine at [Tuckers?] so they put her on the train and sent her out. Her mother is quite a lot better now though. I guess Kay is going to take up Nurse's Training in Toledo. The show the other night was mighty good. They had chorus girls, jugglers, band, singers and everything. I think this one today is supposed to be good. Well it is just starting so will close for now.
