June 5. Dear Folks, I received your letter this noon and was certainly glad to get it. Its the first mail I've received since I got mail one day in Camp Dodge. One week of training gone by but the work hasn't really started yet. Its just been a review of ROTC however we did run the obsticle course a few times this morning. I was certainly sorry to here of Margret's misfortune. She will have a heck of a time making up that school especially if she isn't feeling too well. I'm glad to know she's better though. Those handkerchiefs you have packed will be enough. Also don't worry about the bathing trunks for if they don't I can find something out here. Chances are I'll never need them but I thought I'd have them just in case.
