That written picture of the garden sure brought back a lot of memories. I did do a lot of grumbling didn't I but as long as I did keep halfway caught up it was too bad maybe. I'm glad to here you have your new [Capboard?]. I'll bet it really looks nice and handy to. Sure, give kay a picture if she wants one. I suppose she graduated ok. I haven't heard from her since I left May 11. Do you know if she she got her graduation present? Maybe you don't know what it was. It was a sterling silver braclet with our name on it. Maybe I'll hear from her tonight. We have mail call twice a day. I just couldn't find time to write last night. We had a 2 hr. class along with some other work. Bill is right along with me. In fact he is about a half dozen bunks from me and we are in the same Platoon and squad so its ok. Those abbreviations are for 88th Infantry Training Battalion. I'll try and write to Ken today or tomorrow. I'll close for now until tomorrow. Love Carroll
