Saving...
now. I sure hate to hear about the poor prospect for apples. I was afraid of that with all that rain and weather. Its getting colder than heck now. I have on a jacket and I'm about to freeze. In the afternoons you melt. You can have the Calif climate if you what it. It is nice to sleep though. I think I told you I weighed 163 lbs in one of the other letters. Well, I weigh 165 lb. now. How's that for a little fellow. The sun just went down over the mountain. I guess it was in the west. It looks lost to me for I'm all mixed up on my directions here. Guess I'll close and try to keep warm. Love Carroll June 11, Fri. Dear Folks, I am up in the Solder's Bowl for an outdoor show of some sort. It is a stage show and that is about all I know. I brought some stationary along to write you if I could find an extra minute and I did for the show hasn't started. I put in the day just like I did yesterday. We got up at 4:30 and went to the rifle range where I kept score. We got back into camp about six o'clock tonight. tomorrow and Mon I fire so it will be more fun.
