Saving...
We have started on our main weapon, the machine gun. We use the Browning 30 cal. It fires about 450 to 525 rounds per minute? Eight shots per second. It would make a good duck gun wouldn't it. We tore it all apart yesterday and then we had to clean them last night. I guess we spend about 3 wks on it. We ran the obsticles course this morning, plus seeing an army movie. I didn't get any letters written last night because of scrubbing the barrack with soap and brush. It took quite awhile. It looked good though. I think I'd better close and get some other letters written. I owe plenty of them. I could handle them all if it weren't for KP tomorrow. I guess I'll have to make a lot of short ones. So long for now. Love Carroll
