We had a fairly easy day today. We studied the machine gun all moring then we hiked up on one of these hills after dinner and practiced setting them up. We came in early and marched in a big parade. We had a band and everything down on the parade grounds. There must have been an awful bunch of soldier there for there were four companies of us. I doubt if I get any letters written in the next couple days. They are going to keep us pretty busy. Tomorrow we leave camp right after supper and don't get back until 9:00 P.M. We are going somewhere with our machine guns. To top that off the next night we leave at
