Saving...
I was so darned tired last night I didn't even attempt to write a letter. It seems that I can't get enough sleep. The big day as almost arrived. Guess what? We get paid tomorrow. That should be quite an occassion. I don't know how much I have coming but I suppose not much. A whole bunch of us are planning on going to Frisco and spend some of it seeing the sights. I'm sure looking forward to getting out of camp for awhile. There is a kid here from [place?] who is a fisherman at heart. We had quite a session talking about of fishing trips Sunday. They have a lot of bass, crappies where he lives. Got a letters from his folks saying they were really catching them. That made us both feel bad. This is poor but it'll have to do for now. Love Carroll
