II all the letters we think we should so maybe a big shipment will come rolling in one of these days. Mickey Rooney is here in camp today. He is to put on shows for three days. I suppose I'll manage to see one of his shows. I to received a letter from Ray and he certainly seems to be leading a life of ease. As for the celebrating on V-E day, I imagine we would have done our share. As it was, I didn't even see a battle. Speaking of beautiful nights, we have our share of them here. I sleep with the sides of my tent rolled up and can lie in bed and look at the stars. A guy can do some awfully powerful
