Innsbruck, Tirol Austria, 4. April Dear Carroll! I just received your nice letter and I very much enjoied. I am so happy about this, that I'm going to start a big answer. At first I have to tell you for pardon me because of my bad written English. I told you in my last letter, so I remember, that I never have had occasion to speak this language in the last time. And so I want, that you will pardon my bad English for all my next letters in the future. I only should hope, that you can read this all and understand it too.
