7-3. I'm gong to be demanding. I got a swell letter Sat from your Mother. Was so cute when she told about Karen. They're really proud of her. Said Harsie was on his way back. Darling, I can'[write?] tell you how happy it makes me to know she + your Dad think so much of me. It's all so perfect it almost scares me sometimes. But I don't want it to change [this?]. Heard from the folks too. Mom's sister is in hosp now. Had surgery done this wk. + now Mom is a little on the frantic side. She has a pr. of gray wool. shoes for me. I like that. Gee, the days are getting sorter. Gets dark so
