they're certainly a job. Mon nite Bridgers & "Miss" [Hyzer?] were down, Dad Fred & [illegible] & I played cards all evening. And she & I beat them. Were we surprised!! Tues AM got up & had to iron all the uniforms. I baked a pumpkin pie & Mom made some cookies. Dad some mending & really buzzed around. At 3 we started back for Geneseo. I went to sleep on the train & [illegible] said she had to keep poking me so I wouldn't snore. She's kidding of course. I hope. But the best part of it all was when
