now. Darling, the folks & I had a long talk to about you & I. They're very happy & proud of you. It's OK [with] them about announcing the engagement. Just whenever I want to & Mom will help me line it up. They're so cute about it all. Mom keeps thinking about this & that she has to make for me. It's all so absolutely wonderful. So perfect and right. That's just what I hoped & prayed for. Honey, I didn't get down to Rubio but I saw your Dad a few minutes at the store. He looked swell -- said Vera was fine. He thinks you'll be home by Feb.
