October 12-45 My dearest Carroll, Hi darling! Jeepers is it cold tonite. It was real warm & nice all day & then all of a sudden it changed. I just got off duty. I worked 3-11 tonite cuz last nite I worked 11-7 & tomorrow I go back on 7-3. It all gets so mixed up I'm never sure just what I am supposed to work. It was cold in the halls while I was on duty. Could notice it so much cuz the rooms were warm. And after working in the nursery we did freeze. We were busy tonite. Accident case & stuff like that. Everytime I hear the emergency bell ring
