Oct 28, 1945 My dearest Carroll, Hi darling! Here goes [with] some news and so very much loving for one swell fellow. First off, I'm going to apologize for not writing the last couple days. We have been on the go constantly but I promise from now on I'll do my best and that's a letter every nite to you honey. I love you so very much.
