Oct 29, 1945 My dearest Carroll, Hi darling! Well, honey the end of another day. And I'm in the midst of the happiest part of the day -- writing to you. You're in my tho'ts all day but I feel much closer when I'm writing to you. I love you so very much darling. That seems like such a simple way to say something that means so much but it comes from the very bottom of my heart. But to go on with the news & can't say that there is much. Worked 3-11.
