Saving...
on 2nd floor couple days & was off duty for one day. Was supposed to take the whole wk. off but got terribly busy so I went back on duty. Fri. Dotty & I went to Dav & we have practically all our Xmas shopping done. What a relief! Saw Ruthie there. And when we went out to the hosp (for the 1st time since we left) her Mother was just being admitted for surgery. I hope to go down & see her tomorrow if possible. While we were there they asked if we'd come back to St Lukes & work. Wanted to know if I'd be nite supervisor. I'd really like to but that's an awful lot of responsibility all of a sudden like. But I've contemplating. If I do I won't have any time off in Dec. now. Heard from Carroll Sat A.M. Still just playing football & loving it. Heard from Rose too. Busier than ever cuz few of the nurses there are leaving. Has Ken been shipped out yet? Are Margaret & Karen there now? My every best regards to them. I'm awfully glad we went to
