business. Jean is in school so she will be alone. Yesterday she that was (Helen Lee) and her husband were here for dinner, so we had quite a busy day although we went to church in the morning. Gertrude teaches in the Sunday school, and I go in the Old Ladies' class. I have gotten quite well acquainted with some of them. Last week the class had a dinner and called it a reception for new members as I was a new one. [They?] had a very nice dinner. Gertrude helped [illegible]. They have a sewing circle and last week they tied off a quilt and sewed [illegible].They have [illegible] of them and sell them. It helps out in many ways and
