we have a social time. I am wondering what the weather is there. It is quite Spring like here, but we expect some blizzards yet. Jean generally comes home to her dinner, butsometimes they push a practice of the [illegible] club [then?] she has to stay. I think she [is?] away from home to-day.
A week ago yesterday Gertrude had the [Barnes?] here and they had a sort of a picnic supper. It was the birthday of of Retta Bill's wife. There are so many of them I can hardly keep [illegible] them (who is who). I think there are about ninety of them. Ben & Mable and all of their children but [illegible]  is the [illegible] and [illegible]. I think Mable's father staid with her. Ben doesn't go out on the road much on account of her. Their oldest son is home and he is a great help to Mable. He is a [illegible] Guy. I think he graduated from school and intends to go farther, but hasn't started in anywhere yet. I manage [illegible] some fancy work to do to fill in my time. I don't know yet when I will come back to Denison, when Joseph has business there and [illegible] [is?], I presume. I made a pair of baby socks for Alice [?}'s baby and sent them to Lorena to send on to her. I didn't have their address and I made a pair for young [Honey's?] baby too. I haven't heard anything from them yet. I don't know whether [Gisella?] and Boy [need?] [illegible] or not so I sent them to [illegible] and asked Lorena to forward them to them. [illegible].
