3. I wish I could explain the layout of this hospital to you. It is the biggest one I've ever seen. It sprawls over hundreds of acres. Long corridors laid out in long rows and suspended off the ground on stilts. Then the various wards opening off from the corridors. Each ward complete in itself and holding about 40 men each. One doctor (1st Lt.) and 3 day and one night nurse. Ward boys, kitchen help etc. for each ward [Diagram]
