Barracks. January 6, 1943 Dear Mom, Here it is, still Christmas in the middle of January. Must be so, because you're still getting presents. I hope you'll like it. I didn't have much choice in my selection of gifts. Will try and do better next Christmas. Going to bed now, so will close --- Lots of love, Jack [Row of large X's]
