almost impossible to find a place to stay anywhere around here, and in the second place, goodness only knows when I'd get a chance to see you. I can only leave the post once a week and I have absolutely no time during the day as you can see from the schedule I'm enclosing. I saw one of our newest mobile weapons today. A tank destroyer!! It looks exacatly like a tank, except that it has no turret. In place of the turret, is mounted a 105 M.M. gun that will destroy any tank in the world. It swings in a full 360 [degree] circle and is very deadly. It measures about 18' in length. I think I'd better bring this letter to a close as I'm writing on to Sally tonite also.
