Italy, Germany, South America, and even Honolulu? Well---this is the receiver that did it. It's a 9 tube, all [wane?], super-heterodyne, and it's a honey. To give you an idea of it's size---it would just about fit in the basket that we keep our empty coke bottles in. Ain't that sumpin'? It's so compact, we have trouble tracing the circuits. Everything is so tightly packed. I don't know if you'll understand this diagram or not, but it'll give you a small idea of the kind of stuff I'm up against.
It's been swell down here for the last 4 days. So balmy,--just like spring. It doesn't even seem like winter. But I can't kick about the weather.
One of the fellows and myself, are going to the show tonite. The late show. It's a double feature, so it probably wont be to good.
By the way -- where are those toll-house cookies I was supposed to get. All those candy bars -- you know---
