Saving...
I'm up on the same hill that I was on, the day I wrote Grandma. It's not quite so pretty up here today as it was then. The sun has disappeared and I think there is a good storm brewing. When it storms down here it doesn't fool. Every one Ive seen has been practically a cloudburst. We also get our share of hail and wind. The hailstones, one day, were about the size of pigeon eggs. I've heard nothing but big guns all day. From the concussion, I believe that they're at least 155 mm. assault guns. They rock all the surrounding territory. You can even feel the air moving around your body, just a split second after they fire. i'd hate to be real close to them. I'm wondering if I'll get time to go to the show to-nite. Don't know what the picture is, but I haven't seen it anyway. No matter what it is. That's about the only recreation we have around here. It's about time to be getting back, so guess I'd better close. I don't get the Sunday "News," but the papers here have the same magazine sections as ours do. All my love Jack [Rows of X's]
