Saving...
days slip by awfully fast. We were out, doing field work all morning, and bridge reconnaissance work all afternoon. We're all pretty tired tonite, as a consequence. Don't know if I'll be able to send you or Gram any wild flowers or not. Since leaving "Tiger Camp," I find that there don't seem to be any near the barracks at all. However, I'll keep on looking for them, and if I find any I'll be sure to send them. Your swell box of cookies and maple sugar arrived today also. Boy, they really taste good, and it's fine to taste that good home bakin'. Of course the fellows made the usual inroads on them, but there is still plenty left and I did salvage all of the maple sugar. They didn't see it!! Lucky me. And they wont find it either,
