Saving...
I'll be home. I kind of think that they're going at it the right way. Taking them on one at a time, and blasting them silly. Don't hardly think Italy will last much longer. That sounds just like Jean. Bringing her work home to her mother. You say she did some of it. I can imagine how much. I did get Janet's card but haven't had time to answer it, yet. Also received cards from Louis and Louise, and Grandma. Also not answered. Goodness only knows when I'll get caught up. The maneuvers this last week were more interesting than they've ever been. The reds laid a neat trap for the blues and knocked out most of our light and medium tanks, but we finally brought up enough mobile field artillery and armored vehicles to flank them. However, I guess it was about a draw. Both sides lost heavily. And now---whats this? Lumbago? I didn't think that struck as swiftly as that. I hope you've had the Doctor, Mom. It could be more serious than you think. I sure hope you're all right by the time this reaches you. I'll be worrying until I know how you are. Until nest time, So long Mom, and take care of yourself. All my love, Jack [Row of X's]
