THE LATEST GOLDEN GATE FUTURIAN SOCIETY MEET Was held Sunday the 28th of April at the house of the chairman (he loves to sit), Jack Riggs. Present were Raj (his name is Roger for the edification of one who thot that Raj didn't sound very American) Rehm, Bob Luehr the Frisco fan, George Caldwell the co-editor of Stellarite, John Cockroft editor of Stellarite, angel of Wopple Kit came dressed in "civvies" after the remarkably short time of four months in the Army, he's not very healthy we think. "Lost Weekend Smith" and his charming wife Larry promised to come, but decided to paint the interior of their house instead. Our cute little femme fan Ziza Schramm has moved to San Diego, we'd liked to have seen more of her. Joe Fortier has moved to some distance from here, and we'll be lucky to see much of him from now on. Bob Luehr George Caldwell encountered a bit of difficulty in finding the house of Riggs, although they had both been to a previous meeting. In fact they got off the Frisco train about two miles from the house and walked the rest of the way. Caldwell would make an excellent woodsman, for the way he found the place was rather interesting. Riggs had shown the fellows the University of California's Cyclotron perched on the hills overlooking the city. Caldwell remembered the position of the Cyclotron and deduced the direction in which the meeting place must lie; pretty clever. EROS, George Galdwell's new, hektoed fanzine will be out very shortly.
