Saving...
At last we are presenting the Anniversary issue of the P.S.F.S. News, and it is hoped you think it is all that we said it would be. This marks the first anniversary of the existence of the Philadelphia Science Fiction Society. We all feel that we have been a deciding factor in all science fiction affairs during the past. Our membership is suddenly beginning to grow, too. Some weeks ago the ball was start-member. Now we will soon have three more new names on our lists; and all three more are real fans, though they may not fully realise it--in fact, one of them has complete files of all the magazines and several hundred books. Instead of being published by the Comet Publishing Company, the PSFS News will henceforth be in the hands of the club, with Oswald Train as editor. Material must be sent direct to him at 3507 N. Sydenham St., Philadelphia. In addition to such things as club news, minutes, etc., other items of interest are to be published. Stories, poems, and articles of all kinds are wanted. It is the hope of the editor to have at least 12 pages to every issue of the News. Do your parts!
