PSFS News Page 23 ted. To date, we have published 7 issues. Madle: How about your sf collection? Certainly you maintain one. Agnew: Darn right I do. I can't say that I have a very good collection, but from 1933 it is practically complete. I have quite a few fan mags, too. Madle: You don't say. Have you met any sf celebrities outside of Philadelphia? Agnew: Yes, I have. I attended the First National SF Convention; the Phila. Conventions of '37 and '38, and the showing of The Lost World in New York last January. I have met Sykora, Wilson, Moskowitz, etc., etc. I've met the one and only Donald A. Wollheim, too. Have you ever heard of him? Madle: Ahem -- well let's not go into that just now. Do you have any other interest besides sf? Agnew: I am somewhat musically inclined, playing as I do the saxophone, clarinet, and banjo. When I was a kid I played over station WDAS on the Kiddies Hour. Dear me! I sang, too. Madle: A real crooner, eh? To get back to sf, which magazines do you prefer? Agnew: I like them all, with Astounding a little ahead of the others. I think Fantascience Digest is the best fan mag. You should see the latest issue; it has 30 pages, good material by Kuttner, Hart, Reins..... Madle: Yes, yes! Well, I think I've obtained sufficient information. Ghu-bye.
