PSFS News Page 24 CHARLES H. BERT Biographies are pestiferous things that suddenly leap upon you unawares where you least expect to find them. And then we learn what our favored gent likes, what kind of food he eats, and what kind of pajamas he wears; and whether he manicures his finger nails and who is his favorite movie actress. And all his past crimes and thrilling adventures are blatantly revealed, such as sneaking into the house in the middle of the night carrying his shoes in his right hand to avoid his wife who is waiting for him to bash his head in for gambling away his earnings, or slipping in the bathtub on a cake of soap Are autobiographies like that? Well, i have not read one like that described. For when some one else writes the story of your life, he will have no mercy on the defenseless victim. Ah, autobiographies are much different, despite similarities. You can tell what you like and not reveal your past sins if you have committed any. In this autobiography I intend to describe the things I like and do not like and my own opinions. Subjects that I have a great interest for: History and Prehistory, Social and Economic Institutions. Plus Astronomy and Sexology. These subjects have given me a grand conception of human life, as it was and as it is. My experiences with people in this sophisticated world has mellowed my wisdom (?) and constantly broadened my viewpoint. What are my personal opinions? Well, being
