1948. Up late as stomach distress caused me to lose some hours of sleep. 65 at S.S. Studied floor bulletins, book catalogs, Ch. Kodachromes. In eve to round table discussion on World Peace. Jean Brown. [Name?] Fritz, student from [Julia?] + from [Br. Guiana?]. 1949. Freshmen took "good Health Train" to Mrs. [Searles'?] + Mrs. [Neprud's?] room + explained Basic 7 foods. Home at 2:30 to sleep as my cold is worse. Missed [Muscod?] a Woman's Club. 1949. Worked on faille skirt, walked down town, shrank 10 yd. gingham for [name?]. Started on 3 Czechoslovakian linen towels in eve. 1951. Got Frank up at 4:30 to go back to Rockford after here last eve. Feel miserable all day and did as little as possible. Hans home very late from [place?] (11:30 1952. Cleaned + waxed kitchen linoleum, mended for Frank, napped an hr. Downtown to safe deposit box in bank.
