MARCH 29 1948. Awake from 2 to 5. Took nap in A.M. but stomach really hurts. Dusted up and put away a few things. 1949. Film "Facts about Fabrics" eased up my teaching work. Took apart a sewing machine to make it work. Made 11 buttonholes on pique dress. Rained. Finished reading "Peony". 1950 Did washing by 10, hanging most of it out in sunshine. Finished third choir robe and took them to church in eve. More than 40 there. Mailed Hilda velv. cushion, pr. pillowslips, H. phots. 1951 Up late. Drizzly AM, cleaning at noon. I walked to H.S. by 10, where Miss Davis gave lesson on Business Methods. Saw several on coming events I must plan for: Avis, Neva Williby, etc. Was named chm. of nom. comm. 1952 Baked graham bread, 3 loaves and 2 blueberry pies for bake sale by Youth Fellowship. K made fudge for them. Did Branch circulars in AM and had call from Mr. Kromney on S.S. class. Frank drove my Ford to Iowa - Des M! I walked to Branch, worked 3 hrs. there. K drove Frank's Model A to Madison.
