Memoranda 1918. Located and Getting nearly settled in our new home in Mermillion, South Dakota, and beginning to make some acquaintances in town and country. 1920. A very busy month getting located on our farm in Clinton Co. "Flu" made it a bad start for me. Adela helped me quite a bit. After much effort, Hans got two hired men, and I the promise of help. 1921. Signe's rupture makes care of her necessary. Adela helps me a little after school, and Hazel for washings, etc., but I can't locate regular help. Oskar helps Hans also Alfred Moore. Hans gets oats in, + milking machine going.
