Saving...
April 19 1919. I washed- but it rained, but we got clothes dried in afternoon. Worked on my spread, finishing the second corner. 1918. Baked oatmeal bread, ironed some. Letter from Anna. Unpacked my box of sewing materials and put them away, and did more mending. We planted Swiss chard in evening. 1919. Baked raisin cake. Took nap, as usual. Mrs. Peterson and Mrs. Theo. Anker and Stella called, and brought Hilda a baby spoon. I dropped radish and carrot seed for Hans. Hilda is good. My left nipple very painful yet. Sent card to Mildred Savage. 1920. Rainy again. I dug parsnips Mrs. Whitney gave me, worked with my chickens quite a while, straightened up front upstairs room for Constance. 1921. Letter from Aunt Minnie, + photo of Gene and Lora Louise. Hazel has such a cold she can't help me. I only can do most necessary housework. Signe takes bottle for Adela, who stays here this week, + walks to Gregory's corner for school bus. Drifts haven't all thawed yet. Card to Mama.
