Saving...
July 22 1917. Got up late, went to Ole's for milk. Hot. Ate dinner in yard, read, etc. Iver Nelson called. Went to Carlson's for egg and butter in the evening. Nights are warmer. 1918. Letter from Sis. Just visited. Papa started home on afternoon train, tho rain nearly prevented his starting on time. Mamma helped me work on my long-neglected bedspread. Transplanted some celeriac. We had our first sweet corn for dinner. 1919. Letter from mamma. I ironed a little, sewed a little, crocheted a little. We took ride in Chesty's new auto, going with them to Westre's. 1920. HOT. Finished the worst of the weeds in the garden and planted lettuce, kohlrabi, and wax beans. Finished plaid blouse made Hilda a sheet, cut out Adela a plaid blouse like mine, unionalls for Constance, and gray gingham apron for Hilda. Wrote to Sis and card to Helen.
