Saving...
December 16 1917. Above zero a little more! Rev. Dale here to dinner. We went to church in morning. Wrote to mamma and Artie. Read. 1918. Made 6 pints or so of citron conserves - combined with cranberry, pineapple, or rhubarb. Baked biscuit and rhubarb pie. Embroidered - got centerpiece nearly half done. Did some Christmas shopping. Washed electric light fixtures. Letters from Olga and from Hazel Scott. 1919. Below zero. Ironed most of forenoon. Hilda feels pretty good. She seems to like what Holstein milk she gets - is nearly weaned. I made pair of red moccasins for Mary Lydia. Got Quilt circle letter and started answer! 1920. Took till noon to do a ten day's washing as Hans had to fix up machine a little. Just did housework besides and took nap. Fairly quiet day - only good washday this week. 19
