JANUARY 21 Ironed and baked bread. Got $4.75 from Wallaces'! Finished bottle of medicine in 2 days+, doing little good. Mopped, finished K's rust dress. Started my smock. Busy & felt better; [illegible] day. Made jelly, jello, cleaned my room, washed kitchen windows & put up new curtains. Mrs. Brandt came to have me help her all P.M. with overcoat for Kenneth. We went to our first church supper at Trousdale. Too little air in kitchen after supper -- I got dizzy then swooned -- a new experience for me. Soon better, then we came home. Baked bread & birthday cake for Hans, mopped several floors, tho it winded me. Girls cleaned church in A.M. Hans came home about 4 from Minn. Went into Madison in eve to bring him a suit and Frank highcuts.
