FEBRUARY 7 1936. Long day alone. Washed. Up to about 15° or so about in P.M. Took nap - tired. Wrote Dora. Hilda helped defeat Zwingle b.b. team here 15° 1937. 3 in my S.S. class. 63 there. Rev. Warton's all here for dinner, & till nearly 5 Hans & I at W.B. Miller's for "sandwich supper" & Norwegian whist, also "pig" 1938. In town to bring home school car. Hans left for Illinois. I ironed. Went to tea at Miss Loretta Riley's where Miss Schrage and Mrs. Hazard told us how to give book review 1939. Froze. Worked on lunch cloth. 2 letters, car, & pkg. from Hans! One a special delivery, with check. Letter from Belle Broessel & 7 Wrote Dora. Surprised when Paul Pownall dropped in. 19
