Saving...
FEBRUARY 10 Sunny, not bad out about noon. Deep drifts everywhere again - 15. Had to make new plans for school lunch - I scalloped corn at school and served 40. Went with Bess Kennedy to Breneman's in eve 15 at I. [illegible] 6° Picked out hickory nuts and made chocolate drop cookies, 1 with dime for Ladies Aid at Lilian Maxwell's. Help serve. 12 there. Wrote Hans, Herman. Sewed on my dress. Radio snapped out. Commission. Carl Brandt over in eve-they plan to move the 5th instead of March 1. Zero! and roads and walks slick as glass. Went to Madison with girls by way of Middleton. Dr. said definitely not operation. Tumor reduced 1/2. Got myself first wool dress for 6 years and coat. Very windy. Card to Ferd Ande.
